So, I'm a long time fan of David Rees, whose cartoons I've occasionally posted here. He has recently turned his website into a blog, which is funny and caustic and smart, as one would expect. For example:
"Would someone please write a book called Baby Boomers Suck: In Fact, They Sucked the Whole Time? I would start a book club just to be able to talk about that book."
And I would like to say that I, too, would start a book club just for that very book. Of course I am the offspring of boomers, but that generation as whole kind of threw us under the bus, no? Where is our social-democratic-Scandinavian-style welfare state? WHERE IS IT?
